Design Process - Kokedama Kit for Leaf & Bear

Step 1: Meet with client

Sit down with the to client assess what they require, timelines, budget and create a brief.

Step 2: Draw the leaves

My favourite part of the process is to start by hand-drawing the illustration.

Step 3: Create look and feel

Create a look and feel based on the brief.

Step 4: Digitise illustrations

Upload original line drawing, edit in Photoshop and turn into a vector in Illustrator, which allows the drawing to be scalable from an A4 to a billboard.

Step 5: Map packaging design and create mock-ups

Create a tiny, scalable mock up of the packaging, a crucial part of the process to make sure the logo, text and imagery are correct.

Step 6: Finalise

Liaise with printer and client to finalise the design.
