Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group (MWRRG) is a Victorian State Government Statutory Body responsible for coordinating and facilitating the delivery of waste management and resource recovery across metropolitan Melbourne. For their 2018-19 annual report they wanted something more engaging than they have ever created before and so allowed me to take full creative control of the look and feel of the document.

We decided to highlight the great aspects of living in the community that is metropolitan Melbourne. I created a cover illustration with different features that make Melbourne life unique. I then went on to use the cover illustrations throughout the document, in the infographics as well as to highlight specific work. We also used the illustrations in the LinkedIn posts to highlight accomplishments. It created a cohesive and dynamic design, different from anything MWRRG or I have done.

Stakeholders and the MWRRG team all had positive feedback and it really stuck out compared to the usual generic, corporate annual reports that most organisations put out.
