The New Economy Journal is a magazine that supports the mission to transform Australia’s economy with ecological health and social justice. They required a fresh look and feel for their magazine that was both professional and engaging while giving it a community feeling.

I created a colour scheme that was then used throughout the publication. The images supplied were from various sources and inconsistent, so I decided to make them all black and white with a colour wash over it. This gave the effect of hand printed zines, which gave it that local, community feeling they were looking for.
